World Bank and Japan offer Fully Funded Scholarships
The World Bank and Japan offer Fully Funded Scholarships to students from 160 countries including Europe, Africa, and Japan. This fully funded scholarship program is called the Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP). Students from developing countries can apply for master’s programs in various regions, including the U.S., Europe, Africa, Oceania, and Japan.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants who meet the following criteria are eligible
- Students must be nationals of a developing country.
- Applicants who have completed a bachelor’s degree can apply for a scholarship.
- Must hold nationality from a country listed by the World Bank.
Benefits
The following benefits will be given to successful applicants
- Covering full tuition fee
- Health insurance
- Two-way airfare
- Additional travel allowance of US $500 per trip.
- Monthly stipend which covers accommodation, food, and books expenses.

Participating Universities and Courses
JJ/WBGSP supports scholarships for 52 Master’s Programs offered by 27 different universities in the U.S., Europe, Africa, Oceania, and Japan.
Application process
- Applicants can submit a complete application with all necessary documents.
- Incomplete applications will not proceed.
