As a London graduate, you can apply for a number of visas:
General Visa- Tier 2:
After finishing your education, this is the major visa you will need to stay and work in the UK. Anyone who recently earned a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. from an accredited UK university is eligible to apply.
You must have a job offer from a recognized employer for a skilled position and make at least £20,800 annually before you can apply. Holders of Tier 2 visas may apply for indefinite leave to remain in the UK after five years of employment if they meet certain requirements, including the salary threshold of £35,000.
Graduate Entrepreneur Visa- Tier 1:
All students who are developing a cutting-edge business concept are eligible for this visa option. You must sign up and receive university approval before you may start your own business in the UK.
Any graduating student from any subject field must comply with this.
Student Visa- Tier 4:
You can seek to stay in the UK for an additional 12 months after the completion of your study if you are almost finished with a Ph.D. at a UK higher education institution.
With the exception of a few restricted professions like medicine and dentistry, your university will sponsor you, but you will have full, unrestricted job rights.
Youth Mobility Scheme- Tier 5:
A two-year work scheme visa is available for some nations to apply for. Between the ages of 18 and 30 are required for residents of Australia, Canada, Japan, Monaco, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, and New Zealand.
An official certificate of sponsorship and maintenance is required for people of Hong Kong, Korean, or Taiwanese nationalities.
Temporary Worker/GAE– Tier 5:
Depending on the program you’re applying for, this study-work visa permits you to employment in the UK for up to 12 or 24 months.
In order to do internships and work experience in the UK after finishing their studies, international students in the UK can apply for a Tier 5 (Government Authorised Exchange) visa.
