The Ph.D. scholarships are offered by the Department of Chemistry at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. There are two fellowship positions for candidates. The fellowship is on the topic of electrolysis of nanoparticles. The fellowship will be starting in August or September 2024. The University of Copenhagen is the oldest and most prestigious research university in Copenhagen, Denmark. The University conducts research in various fields, including climate change, sustainability, biotechnology, health sciences, humanities, and social sciences. This fellowship is offered and conducted by conducted at the Center for High Entropy Alloy Catalysis (CHEAC).
The research will based on the use of complex nanoparticles in electrocatalytic energy conversion reactions which are environmentally friendly. The projects will explore the interactions of oxidation states and atomic structures in water oxidation catalysis and the dynamic evolution of active sites in high entropy alloy nanoparticles during electrocatalysis. The research purpose is to explore nanoparticles as catalyst materials for key energy conversion reactions.
