HEC International Internships | Huawei Seeds Trainee Program 2022 are open for all Pakistani Undergraduate Students who want to polish their professional Skills. The Higher Education Commission, in collaboration with Huawei, recently announced its Seeds for the Future program for Pakistani nationals. Huawei Technologies (Pvt.) Ltd. Pakistan and the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) are inviting applications from prospective Pakistani undergraduate students under the HUAWEI SEEDS for the Future Program 2022. Under the subject program, in the last 7 years, 130 students were selected by HEC from universities across Pakistan and 55 of them were sent by Huawei to China for a two-week training on culture and ICT skills. was Like last year, due to Covid-19, HEC and Huawei have temporarily organized an eight-day online training for 30 to 40 outstanding Pakistani students in the field of ICT for a period of one week from 26 September 2022. Made a plan. Selected students will be able to acquire the latest ICT knowledge (5G, Cloud, AI, etc.) developed by Huawei’s headquarters and experience cross-cultural communication in practice.
Huawei and HEC organized an 8-day online training program for 30 to 40 Pakistani students in Information and Communication Technology. The program will start on 26-9-2022. Both male/female candidates are eligible to apply for this program.
Candidates selected under this program will have advanced knowledge of cloud, AI, and 5g technologies developed at Huawei headquarters, including virtual cross-cultural communication.
Participants will have an opportunity to get souvenirs, smartwatches, smartphones and certifications based on their performance and participation. The Higher Education Commission shortlisted more than 130 students from various institutions in Pakistan over the past seven years and 50 of them were sent by Huawei to China for a two-week training program. Eligibility Criteria:
- Citizen of Pakistan/AJK and permanent resident of Pakistan/AJK. Dual nationals are not eligible.
- Specializing in subjects/subjects like Information and Communication Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, Multimedia and Digital Arts, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electrical Communication Engineering, Telecom Engineering, Electronics Engineering etc.
The following students will be considered:
- Students currently enrolled in the final year of ICT-related undergraduate degrees (four-year program with 6th, 7th, and 8th semesters only) with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 out of 4.
Students who have completed undergraduate ICT-related degrees with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 out of 4 since summer 2021. - Below 24 years of age on the last date of application
- Demonstrate excellent academic intelligence, and speak English fluently.
- Have a keen interest in information communication and technology and related fields.
- Students who have already undergone this training in previous years are not eligible to apply.
- With personal computer equipment and a strong internet connection
- Selected students must be available during the online training session (for a period of one week from 26 September 2022).
- Final selection will be made on the basis of academic excellence and Federal Govt. Quota policy
- In case of the final award, the selected candidates will not be able to withdraw.

- Please follow the instructions and completely fill out and submit the online application.
- HEC reserves the right to conduct interviews of the initially shortlisted candidates.
- Incomplete or saved applications on HEC online portal will not be considered.
- The recommendation of the nominating agency i.e. HEC shall be final and binding.
- Hard copies of documents are not required.
