Introduction:
Education is changing day by day and experts are continuing to introduce new testing strategies for students pursuing professional qualifications and careers. Some tests are designed to judge, evaluate and calculate the eligibility of students who want to be admitted to a field of their choice, and other tests are presented to determine the eligibility of candidates for a particular field and occupation. Higher Education Commission (HEC), the Government of Pakistan has entered the Education Examination Council (ETC) by conducting a Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT) for students and nominees seeking admission to MS / MPhil programs sponsored by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) through the same process and accessible. HEC invites candidates through advertisements in newspapers and on its website to register online so that the eligibility of applicants can be done thereafter.

History:
Oxford University Colleges use the History of Aptitude Test (HAT) in choosing students for all undergraduate courses which have the history.
This examination, which aims to assess the skills and competencies required to study History at a university, provides a basis for objective comparisons of candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including mature applicants and those from different countries. It is designed to be challenging, to differentiate between applicants who are well-versed in university studies, including those who may or may not be expected to obtain the highest marks in their examinations.
Starting with the 2018 Power Statistical Test there will be a single query based on the source, which will be answered in one hour.
Applicants will be asked to provide a hypothetical interpretation of the source without knowing anything about its context. HAT is a skills test, not solid historical knowledge. It is designed for baptismal candidates to find the same challenge, regardless of the time they spend in school (s) or the school exams they take.
