Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2024
The Google Summer of Code (GSoC) is an internship program for students and new developers to work on Open source projects. After completing the project, the intern can receive a stipend from $3000 to $6600. The stipend amount varies and is calculated on the base of the intern’s location. The selected candidate can work on coding projects under the mentor’s guidance. Students can apply based on work projects proposed by open-source organizations. Google Summer of Code provides a platform to enhance and polish intern skills. The GSoC aims to introduce various opportunities for students through open-source software development and encourage their participation in open-source projects. The GSoC launched several projects such as software development, web development, mobile app development, data science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Machine learning, and career certificate courses. Application Requirements
- The applicant must be over the age of 18 years
- Applicant must belong to the eligible country of GSoC during the period of internship.
- Applicant must be a student of Open-source
- Candidates are not selected as GSoC Contributors/Students in GSoC more than once.
- Candidate should submit the work project proposals, some organizations require multiple project proposals
Application Last Date
The candidates can apply for GSoC before the date of 2nd April 2024. The selection will be based on project ideas or proposals.
