Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must hold a PhD or expect to complete their PhD within six months of the submission deadline.
- If already awarded a PhD, the doctorate must have been obtained within two years before the submission deadline. The decisive date is the date of the examination or viva voce.
- Applicants who have not yet completed their PhD must provide a certification of their planned defense date, signed by their advisor or department chair. The defense must be completed before starting the fellowship.
- Candidates must have at least one publication in a peer-reviewed journal or have received an award for their doctoral thesis.
