This study investigates how ADS-based mHealth apps might expand opportunities while reducing dangers to public values. To put it another way, how can the desired impacts of ADS-based mHealth apps be maximized while minimizing the potential damage to public values be minimized? The project focuses on user views of the potential and hazards that ADS-based mHealth apps pose for public values.
It also seeks to comprehend the factors that influence user views, such as human traits such as algorithm and data literacy, as well as personal values or opinions. The project employs a transdisciplinary co-creative approach, actively involving stakeholders as co-researchers (e.g., end-users, preventative practitioners, and policymakers).
