Eid ul Fitr Public Holidays 2022 Punjab Govt Official Notification:
The Services and General Administration Department of the Punjab Government has issued the official notification of the official holiday of Eid-ul-Fitr 2022 on April 28, 2022.
According to this notification of Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, Eid-ul-Fitr holidays will be 2022 in Punjab from Monday, May 2 to Thursday, May 5. According to the notification, in accordance with the Press Release dated 27th April, 2022 of the Cabinet Division, Cabinet Secretariat, Government of Pakistan, for general information, it is informed that there will be a public holiday in Punjab Province from 2nd May to 5th May 2022 (Monday to Thursday). On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr
A notification in this regard will be issued soon. However, it is noteworthy that the four Eid holidays, combined with Sunday, will become a total of five Eid-ul-Fitr 2022 holidays.
According to sources, the Interior Ministry had earlier sent a summary of three public holidays on Eid-ul-Fitr, but Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif approved four holidays on the religious festival.
It should be noted that the month of Ramadan started on April 3, 2022 and this year the holy month is expected to be 30 days. The moon of Shawwal is likely to appear on the evening of 30th Ramadan 20th May 2022.
