Eid ul Fitr Holidays 2024 in Pakistan Official Notification:
Eid-ul-Fitr holidays in Pakistan are starting from 10th April 2024 to 13th April 2024. Official notification has been issued by the Cabinet Division for Eid-ul-Fitr holidays 2024 in Pakistan. Although the notification indicates that the holidays are starting from 9th or 10th April, it is also clear in the notification that these holidays are subject to the sighting of the moon. Since this year Ramadan is starting on 10th April 2024 and the day of Eid-ul-Fitr should be May 3, it is clear that the government will issue a formal notification stating that the holidays of Eid-ul-Fitr 2024 will start 9th april. And until 13th April 2024.
This year May 1st is on Sunday so Labor Day holiday will be on Sunday and then May 2nd is Monday but 30th of Ramadan is blessed so it will be a definite holiday. 9th april will be Eid-ul-Fitr so it will also be a definite holiday and then 11 and 12th is the second and third day of Eid, so it will be a holiday. Then after these holidays, Friday, 14th will be a working day.

The expected date of sighting of the moon in Pakistan is 9th April 2024. There is a strong possibility that the moon sighting committee will announce the day of Eid-ul-Fitr on the evening of 9th April, 2024. Thus Eid-ul-Fitr 2024 may fall on 10th April 2024.
Pensions and salaries of employees before Eid.
To add to the joys of Eid-ul-Fitr 2024, the federal government, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have announced the distribution of salaries and allowances in advance for employees for April 2024. In this way, pensioners and employees will be able to shop for Eid a few days in advance.
