Join Pak Army after F.Sc. / ICS / A-Level to Get Regular Commission as an Engineer in One of the Following Fields
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Software Engineering
- Information Security
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering

- Mechatronics Engineering
- Aeronautical Engineering
Education:
- Minimum 60% marks in Matric/Senior Cambridge/O Level English in five subjects for O Level
- Minimum 65% marks in FSc Pre-Engineering including 20 marks in NCC.
- For A Levels, candidates must have passed Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at Grades 1-6/A-C.
- Candidates can also apply for HOPE Certificate of 65% marks issued by the Head of Institution who had promoted to FSc Part 1 without examination and prior sub-examination.
- Candidates will not be considered for final merit if they do not submit the result card/mark sheet within one week after the declaration of FSc Board result. Students who secure less than 65% marks in FSC and less than A-C grade in Advanced Level will be ineligible.
- Students can apply for Software Engineering and Computer Engineering only who have qualified in FSc or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Studies or Computer Science subjects.
Initial selection procedure for TCC:
The management of Pak Army TCC has set some procedures to select the best candidates. Preliminary tests will be conducted on computers so candidates must have computer knowledge. If the candidate goes through the selection process and passes each stage successfully then the current candidate can be selected.
The selection process for joining Pakistan Army in TCC is as follows:
Written test:
The student has to take the intelligence test first. After qualifying the intelligence test candidates will take your academic test. The academic test will be based on multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from the subjects of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, English, and Computer Science (only for ICS students).
Candidates doing ICS will get MCQ from Computer Studies subject in alternative to Chemistry. Candidates qualifying the test will have to visit the nearest (AS&RCs) for a physical test.
Physical test:
A young person should be able to.
- Do 20 repetitions of the set-ups in 2 minutes.
- Run 1.6 km in 8 minutes.
- Do 15 repetitions of push-ups in 2 minutes.
- Crossing 7’4” x 7’4” with a depth of 4”.
- Do 3 repetitions of chin-ups in 2 minutes.
Preliminary medical tests:
Candidates who qualify for the physical test will go for a preliminary medical test at Army Selection and Recruitment Center AS&RC. Aspirants have to clear preliminary medical tests to join Pakistan Army through Technical Cadet Course.
More choices:
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified through websites along with receiving the call-up letter for the ISSB test.
- A candidate recommended by ISSB must pass a medical examination from the nearest CMH.
- The final selection of students will be done by GHQ based on their overall performance.

- Candidates must have an email account as you will get all the information like test dates, schedule, and fee method on your email.
- If you don’t want to apply online due to internet access or any other problem, you apply at AS&RC. For registration, you should visit the nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RC). Bring all the required documents including education documents, CNIC (If you are below 18 years then use your father’s or mother’s CNIC), B form, birth certificate, and 6 color photographs attested by the gazette officer.
- If you are a repeater you should come to AS&RC with 3 copies and the original ISSB “Not Recommended” letter.
