Although the program is located in Lahore, students from all over Pakistan can apply for the program if they are eligible. Interns will be selected on the basis of merit or qualifications as there is no quota system. Male and female Pakistani students can apply for this internship program in the final years of their bachelor’s and master’s degree or equivalent.

Eligibility Criteria:
To apply for a LESCO internship, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- To be eligible, students must enroll in an HEC-recognized university.
- Candidates must have a CGPA of 3.0 or higher in their previous academic year or semester.
- Selection is totally base on merit basis. There will be no discrimination on the basis of color, sex, religion, or anything else.
Selection criteria
The final selection will be made on the basis of total scores as per the calculation given below:
For Masters or Equivalent (16-years of education) Degree
- %age marks obtained in matric @ 05%
- %age marks obtained in intermediate or equivalent @ 15%
- %age marks obtained in BA/B.Sc or Equivalent @ 30%
- %age marks obtained in MA/M.Sc or equivalent @ 50%
For Bachelors or equivalent (16-years of education) Degrees
- %age marks obtained in matric @ 05%
- %age marks obtained in intermediate or equivalent @ 25%
- %age marks obtained in BA/B.Sc (Engg or Equivalent @ 70%
