Scholarship Application Eligibility Criteria:
For Schuman traineeships:
- Age requirement: 18 years old. There’s no upper age restriction.
- National of a country that is a candidate for membership or a Member State of the European Union
- It may also be possible to offer a restricted number of traineeships to citizens of other nations.
- You must possess a university-level credential or have completed at least three years of college, such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- A European Parliament member may provide paid traineeships on the European Parliament’s Brussels (or Strasbourg) premises. Gaining experience with the European Parliament will improve your understanding of how its members operate.
For Members of the European Parliament
- Age requirement: 18 years old. There’s no upper age restriction.
- Possess citizenship in one of the EU’s candidate nations or one of its member states.
- Members may provide traineeships to citizens of third countries.
- You need to have a degree from an accredited university or have finished three years of college, such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
