The Government of Japan launched the program in 2019 to address the severe labor shortages in Japan in 12 areas and look for Specified Skilled Workers. People interested in Agriculture, farming, Construction, food service, Healthcare, Shipbuilding, and ship machinery can apply for this program. It is based on a win-win situation for foreign workers and the Japanese economy.
