JSPS International Post-Doctoral Fellowship for Research in Japan
Japan Society for Promotion of Science(JSPS) offers a post-doctoral fellowship program for young researchers in Japan. JSPS program aims to facilitate cooperative research activities with Japanese research groups and covers a two-year stay in Japan. The Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research(SSF) is working with JSPS to select and nominate up to two candidates for consideration.

Job Description
The selected candidate can conduct research training in an international environment. They can develop a strong linkage between Japan and Sweden through collaboration. Fellowship will be started from July 1, 2024.

Eligibility & Qualifications
- Doctoral student or Ph.D. holder in natural sciences, life sciences, or engineering background can apply.
- The applicant must have a doctoral degree to start the stay in Japan.
- Advance arrangement of their research plan with the Japanese.
- Fellows must start their fellowship from July 1, 2024, to November 30, 2024.
