According to Law 288/55 and its subsequent changes and additions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) offers grants in favor of foreign citizens and Italian citizens living abroad (IRE) for the academic year 2023-24 in order to foster international cooperation in cultural, scientific, and technological fields, to promote Italian language and culture, and to support Italy’s economic system in the world. Bursaries are available to help applicants complete study courses and research/training programs at public or legally recognized Italian educational institutions. Scholarship Support:
Entrants chosen for Italian government scholarships 2023 will be benefited from the following:
- Payment of enrollment fee
- Tuition fees are waived.
- MAECI has purchased health and medical/accident insurance.
- A monthly award of 900 Euros will be deposited directly into the entrant’s bank account.
Application Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree is required for applicants to a master’s degree program.
- At the time of application for the Master’s degree program, you must be 28 years old or younger.
- If you are applying for a Ph.D. program, you must be under 30 years old at the time of application.
- The aspirants must be able to demonstrate English language competency through IELTS or another language certificate such as English competency Language Proof.
